With increasing awareness in this age of technology, people have started to move away from eating things that are chemical, or not healthy. People are also looking for alternatives to pizza, burgers or cake pastries. In such a situation, Ambrosia Organic Farm met people’s demand by bringing organic fitness food in the market with rice cakes and fruit flavored peanut butter.
Ambrosia Organic Farm is a well known name for fresh, nutritious and chemical free products since many years. Apart from being the first organic company in the country, this farm is one of the fastest growing brands in Asia.
When did it start?
The Goa-based farm was started in 1993 by David Gower and Michaela Keleman, a couple who moved to India from London. In fact, the couple came to India a long time ago and decided to settle here after being influenced by the Indian culture. Making his base in Goa, he started Ambrosia Organic Farm for organic products. It was during this time that the couple met 16-year-old Janardhan Khorate, a sensitive and determined man. Janardhan Khorate was from a simple family, who wanted to change the situation with his will power and different thinking. Impressed by his talent, a foreign couple handed over Ambrosia Organic Farm to him in 2008. The company has grown rapidly since Ambrosia Organic Farm started operating in Khorat. An example of this is a company that started with Tk 10 lakhs has become Tk 40 crores.

In 2015, Ambrosia Organic Farm became the first rice cake manufacturer in the country and also started producing fruit flavored peanut butter.
