Thanks to telecom business Reliance Jio, a laptop called Jio Book has recently hit the Indian market. You can buy this laptop with 4G capability through the official e-marketplace. Reliance JioBook, an affordable laptop, was launched at a very low price so that more customers can avail it. This point was also pointed out at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 event held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.

The device has dual speakers, dual microphones and a two-in-one combo port for headsets, in addition to the dual speaker setup. There is an HDMI port, a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port. Besides supporting microSD card, there is also support for WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0. JioOS operating system is used in this laptop.

The laptop packs a 5000mAh battery, which Reliance Jio claims can deliver up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. There is also passive cooling support for heat dissipation. Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI mini, Wi-Fi and more. Interestingly, the device comes with an embedded Jio SIM card, which allows people to enable Jio 4G LTE connectivity.

The JioBook laptop can be purchased for Rs 19,500 through the official e-marketplace. But at the moment, this laptop is only available for those who work in government agencies.

The starting price of JioBook Laptop is Rs 15,799. This is a small discount from the original price of the item. On the official website, the starting price of the smartphone was Rs 19,500. It appears that the laptop is either being offered at a discounted price for regular users or listed at a lower price. The device is available on Reliance Digital Store for interested buyers.
