New update for which model?
iOS 16.3 will only support iPhone 8 series above. Also, it supports the second generation iPhone SE and iPhone SE 5G.

What new features will the phone get from iOS 16.3?
Apple has included end-to-end encryption features in around 23 categories in the new update. This includes notes, photos and iCloud backups, etc.

– The new update brings the security key feature of Apple ID. Under this, users can now strengthen two-factor-authentication by adding a physical key.

After the iOS 16.3 update, users will now be able to make an emergency call by simply pressing the side button and either of the volume buttons.
