Airtel 5G Plus: Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G services in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy on 24 January 2023. Its 5G service is already live in Chennai. Airtel 5G Plus services are being made available to customers in phases, as the company is still building and rolling out its network. Customers with 5G supported devices can enjoy the high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost. Speaking about the launch, Bharti Airtel CEO, Tamil Nadu & Kerala said, “I am delighted to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy along with Chennai. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network in these five cities.
And will be able to enjoy speeds 20-30 times faster than current 4G speeds. We are in the process of rolling out 5G across the city, which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant photo uploading, downloading and more.”
